2020 Virtual Shared Mobility Summit
A few weeks before the 2020 Summit was to begin, COVID-19 changed everything.
In less than two months, my team and I transformed the 2020 Summit into a successful two-day virtual event with over 90% of all sessions held and enhanced in the digital arena.
Noteworthy achievements:
Finding renowned speakers in a condensed time frame
Convincing 75% of the attendees to attend the virtual event and donate the cost difference
Managing promotions and media contracts
Choosing the virtual platform and building the website with my technologist
2019 National Shared Mobility Summit
The leading shared transportation summit in North America, the conference has attracted mobility, civic, and transportation leaders from the public and private sectors since 2014.
As Communications and Public Affairs Director, I had a key role in planning, communicating, and executing three days of keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, breakout sessions, networking events, an peer-judged innovation challenge and the Shared Mobility Expo.
2019 attendance exceeded over 800 attendees with 30 sponsors.
Media marketing plan included earned triweekly e-blasts and digital events, a website, earned media including guest articles and interviews, daily social media engagement and creation of a host committee of Summit PR ambassadors.

Silver Addy Award Winner: PrimaLoft Showroom Experience
The PrimaLoft showroom at the companies headquarters in Latham, NY featured the company’s technology, the products its materials are used in — from winter jackets to boots and sleeping bags – and the opportunity for visitors to test and feel PrimaLoft's patented materials. The company’s history spanned a wall with a lighted timeline highlighting product milestones. Similar booths were customized for outdoor shows in Germany around the EU.
Experiential Event Marketing: Bacardi
To launch Bacardi Mango Fusion, my team and i needed to generate buzz on the street. Not just any streets mind you, but the hottest ones in NY, LA, Miami and Chicago. The Bacardi Mango Fusion Lounge did this by mixing basketball, hip-hop, tattoos and sneakers – showing just how cool a fusion could be.
